Welcome to 58th Doncaster (Bessacarr) Scout Group

The 58th Doncaster (Bessacarr) Scout Group has been at the heart of scouting since 30 December 1943. We attract people from all over the borough from all age groups and regularly take part in fun activities including outdoor games, fire lighting, hiking, kayaking, shooting and lots of other fun stuff.

We like to think of our members as extended family and our leaders invest a lot of time, effort and energy in providing your children with skills and confidence to bring into young adulthood. Our members enjoy it so much, the majority of our leaders and youth team are previous scouts themselves.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
