Wanted

Enthusiastic adults to help run Beavers at the 58th Cantley Scout Group

Hours – 2-3 per week

Duties – Help with games, activities, administration of awards system and programme planning, attend as many camps as you are available for, interest other adults in helping at across the group and camps.

Length of appointment – For as little or as long as you are available

Requirements – Sense of humour and willingness to undertake a DBS checks (we can do this for you and there’s no cost).

Remuneration – Increased self-esteem, personal challenge, personal development, gain new knowledge and skills, friendship, community involvement, outdoor activities, stimulating and varied activities, join a team and get free training.

We are currently looking for help to run our Beaver colonies on a Thursday night. No prior experience necessary as we will provide you with all the training and help you need to deliver a great Scouting Programme for 6-8 year olds!

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
